This is called palm rejection. You can google for the keyword and your
exact model, however in my experience, when palm rejection doesn't
work out of the box, I doubt there is anything that you can do.


I often get annoyed by that as well and what I did was to disable
tap-to-click. At least when it's enabled, then I only move the cursor
but don't accidentally click on anything. I don't know how it works
with MBP since that thing doesn't even have the "real" buttons to
click on, so your only way to click is to tap.
