Case 1: go to a business about x, chit-chat about a breakfast cereal,
along with x. Your mobile phone is in your pocket.
Go home, a day or so later you get ads for breakfast cereal on the phone
browser.
Was Google listening? Or somebody else? Did you expect this?

Case 2: spam phone call alleged to be Microsoft threatening machine shut
down etc. if you do not talk to them.
Press 1 to talk, they ring off. Then you find that your phone recording
app has been turned on.
