wondering how many other Trilug'ers were sending e-mail from pilot, who might be 
affected by the same problem (apparently no-one else so far), I looked in

pilot:/var/mail

to find no user files there (well a couple of abandonned ones). I take it that 
the inbound mail files are somewhere else now?
