[TriLUG] No BTRFS in RHEL8/Centos8?

Reading https://centosfaq.org/centos/missing-packages-in-centos8-mirrors-or-do-i-miss-something/#comment-128436
and https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/545089 make me feel like RH will
not be providing btrfs in rhes8. Does anyone know why? I see it still
available in centos8, but I do not know if that too will be removed.
