I designed and will be running the hardware/robotics competition this year
at SoutheatCon. Since the Saturday of the event is 03/14 (Pi Day), I
designed a competition centered around pi.

Teams will build robots to do one, or both, of the tasks of:
* pressing 10x pushbuttons for the digits of pi
* stacking Lego Duplo blocks with 10x different colors (black, brown, red,
orange - ie: resistor code) for each digit of pi

Each team gets 3 minutes for the robot to run, and some teams are expecting
to push over 3k digits on the buttons and stack as high as 6'+ feet high
stacks of Duplo blocks for pi.

It will definitely be fun to watch, and if you want a front row seat in the
event, message me and I will gladly sign you up to assist with running the
competition.

If interested in peeking at the rules, they can be found at:

I also ran the hardware/robotics competition in 2017 that was in Charlotte
and I had a little over 50 teams and I am expecting a similar number this
year (so far, 33 are registered).
