[TriLUG] recommendations for UPS 12V batteries

I have a Clary ups and I have bought replacement batteries from Clary. They have lasted about ten years. As I remember, Clary recommends replacing the batteries and cooling fans every five years for optimum reliability. Buying from the ups manufacturer means the price probably is higher but the quality of the batteries probably is better.
