[TriLUG] Medium distance Internet

I have an infrastructure delima that I have to solve.Problem:  My sister
and Brother in Law in semi-rural West Virginia own two houses.  They are
roughly 170 ft apart, with a gravel parking lot separating them.Both are
single story dwellings.  They would like to extend high speed internet from
one house to the other, they are on a cable based ISP in their primary
house.  (the second house was recently inherited.)  Once they have internet
in the 2nd house my Dad could move in there at least part time.  We are
going to see if he can make do with a Roku as the TV source in this house.
Any suggestions for extending Ethernet from house 1 to house 2?Pulling and
burying a cable is not out of the question, but somewhat labor intensive.
So we would like to explore other methods as well.
