I’m glad I’m not the only one who remembers this.

I won’t dismiss the is call to action, however, because it’s a symptom of a bigger problem: the Steering Committee of TriLUG needs to hold elections, and it needs to move forward on replacing operating systems and services that are EOL. The version of mailman powering this list is EOL. The python it depends on is EOL. The OS it is running on is EOL. That’s bad, and you (dear reader of this email)[1] can help fix it!

If people want this fixed, they should volunteer to do the work by standing for election to the next Steering Committee of TriLUG.
