I started using slackware around 1999, dabbled with debian, and then
committed to a linux desktop as my daily driver with Mandrake around 2001.
When Mandriva imploded as a company, I picked up Ubuntu and used that until
I got hired at Red Hat in 2012. I installed Fedora 17 at that point and
have been loving it ever since (now upgraded to 40 of course). It's
incredible how good it's become!

Recently I had a need to use bluetooth headphones with my laptop, which I'd
written off years ago as a bad idea because linux bluetooth audio was known
to be a mess. I don't know what the current consensus is, but it worked
perfectly for me. It was a good reminder to check back in on old
assumptions.
