There was a great British comedy TV series called The IT Crowd pool and one of the characters had an Altair on a shelf behind him in some episodes.

In one classic scene they had a tape recorder rigged with the phone so when it answered a recording played "Hello, IT. Have you tried turning it off and back on again?"

One of my favorite features of Linux was not having to reboot so much. The ridiculously frequent reboots for the first few decades of Windows seemed like an obvious admission of poor design.

The second cool thing of early Linux was how seldom it crashed. Another contrast with most PCs. :-)
