[TriLUG] free: old sun sparcstation ipx

does anyone have use for some old (currently non-working) computer
hardware, circa 1991?

- sparcstation ipx - model 47b (?)
- external scsi drive with cd-rom - model 411
- 16" premium color monitor (CRT) - model gdm-1662b
- keyboard + mouse -- and i think the sun mouse "pad" too (metal?) need to
double check
- centrecom 10bt adapter, video cable, scsi cable, video vga adapter, power
cables

none of it powers-on in any meaningful manner.  apparently that's a common
issue with the IPX power supply.

at minimum someone would most likely need to re-cap all of the power
supplies. and then the IPX also has the NVRAM battery issue (that's usually
solved with hacksaw/dremel, and then connecting an external battery).

otherwise ... everything _looks_ like it's in reasonably good shape,
besides the classic yellowing of all of the plastic.  it's been sitting
around in storage for most of the past two decades, since i haven't tried
to use it in most of that time.
