Excellent question!!! But I have no idea, it's been a couple years since my dd-wrt router died and it was always super solid. For some reason in my my mind I felt that DD-WRT lost the race and OpenWRT had won. I cannot give you the reason I felt that way, I just remember the sentiment. Pretty sure I had researched at some point, but I try sooooo VERY hard to forget stuff. I just don't have the room `,~).
