Yeah I was going to say: AI is pretty horrible for creative tasks. I
actually have Qwen hooked up to vim so it suggests things for anything I
write (including email.) I don't think I've ever actually accepted a
suggestion from it outside a program because, of course, it doesn't add
any information to what I'm writing. That's the thing about art, it's
not just noisy flailing: there's a signal and communication. In good art
the artist is communicating some kind of message to the viewer. They're
just not doing it in a conventional way. LLMs don't really have much to
say because they don't have lives of their own so they're really worse
at art than programming.
