I have an old LaserJet P2015d which someone gave me, years ago. It was
sitting in a corner, gathering dust, I don't know for how long. I recently
dragged it out, blew the dust off, plugged it in, and plugged a USB cable
to my Windows 11 computer.

*It* *just* *worked*. No muss, no fuss, no driver issues, not even a paper
jam. It just worked.

Wow! What a difference from HP's junky inkjet printers, with their flakey
firmware & drivers, clogging printheads, inscrutable error codes, and
irreplaceable fragile plastic gears.

And toner cartridges are practically free, online (as little as ⅓¢ per
page).
