James,
I am interested in assisting others with Linux installation and 
customization.   I pitch Linux at every opportunity.
I have been using Linux for, I think, more than twenty years.  I run 
Ubuntu and have used Mint and possibly others in the past.
The use of the terminal is familiar to me.  I am proficient in the use 
of shell scripting and macro creation and use.
I do all my work with Firefox, Thunderbird, LibreOffice and a number of 
other apps and tools.
My location is just NW of Mebane and my phone is 914-563-0234.  I would 
be happy to work with you to get others on Linux.
