[TriLUG] free Lenovo laptop - broken keyboard

I have a Lenovo Flex 6 (81EM) laptop that needs a new home.

It runs OK. It currently has Ubuntu 24.04 installed on it.
But it does have some issues.

* The keyboard is broken. Specifically, the down arrow key
has popped off completely, and the left arrow key does not
work. Keyboard replacement on this model looks like a
daunting task. I use a USB keyboard with it (not included).

* It makes a periodic "tic-tic-tic" sound. It almost sounds
like a phone ringing somewhere next door, very faint. I
thought it might be the hard disk, but it has a solid state
drive.

Specs:
* 2.2GHz Core i3 CPU
* 8GB of RAM
* Samsung MZVLW128 (128GB NVMe M.2 SSD)

I was thinking it might make a good "in the closet" server,
with a built-in monitor, but I did not see anything in the
BIOS to configure it to power back on after an outage.

I bet the battery is only good enough to act as a UPS, and
not good enough to tote around for normal laptop use.

It comes with two power supplies.

Let me know if you're interested. Bonus points for falling
for the "reply all" trick on the mailing list. We can arrange
a drop-off/pick-up, maybe at a LUG meeting, maybe elsewhere.
I am in Chatham County part of west Cary.
