[TriLUG] [Reminder] Put your name in for TriLUG Elections!

Hello Everyone!

posting again as a reminder to everyone-- As per our charter, TriLUG has
elections every May -- that means around this time we gather names to put
in as candidates for the next steering committee! There are five places
available that are up for grabs. Chair, Vice Chair, treasurer, Secretary,
and system admin.  Roles will be decided among the five people that get
elected.

You may nominate yourself or someone else, and we will vote on them during
the May monthly meeting. We want to put in the notice now (and we will
iterate during  February and March opening slides)  to give people time to
consider and campaign :)

Responsibilities of Steering Committee members include getting speakers,
updating the website and keeping up our infrastructure (mailing list, shell
server, etc), and finding new ways to improve and preserve TriLUG for years
to come :)
