maddog is as good a speaker as advertised. The talk about compilers
was great -- not too much detail to be overwhelming, but I learned
some new stuff.

and hearing his stories and anecdotes about the PDP-8 and his time at
DEC with the Alpha was even more amazing.

Please let Jon know that we loved his talk and any time he wants to
come back and reminisce or tell us stories of the heyday of computer
science, we would be grateful
