Dennis, myself, and Anne on the sixth day of our hike thru Glacier National Park.
This well-placed rock formation was right next to a clear swift flowing stream.
We doffed our boots, soaked our weary toes, and had lunch here. If you look
at Dennis you will see that he is just landing on the rock as the camera cliks!
Dennis set the camera. Jumped the stream. Sprinted 20 yards. Scrambled up the rock
face, and jumped into position with a smile on his face! I guess he wasn't kidding
when he took off his pack, and told us, "Now I feel like I can fly!"
Phil and I are "making silage!"
The machine in the left foreground (obscuring Phil) lifts up freshly cut foliage
and drops it into the silos below. Every now and then we jump into the modular
silos and dance around. This was supposed to compact the foliage, and help it
"stew" faster.
All I know, is that it was a lot of fun! Especially that first jump.... You
go so deep into the stack of silos that you need a ladder to climb out.
Hiking with best friends Earl and Gavin.
Great guys who don't mind getting a "little" lost every now and then.
