[Linux-ham] Morse Code?

Well, I recently got my Technician license, but was planning to start 
studying for the Morse Code exam to go to General one day.  But then I saw 
this article on Slashdot and that they ceased CW in Australia.

So while I'm still interested in learning Morse Code, there's not that 
sense of urgency to learn it as much as it did before.
Although now I'm more interested in setting up a spare PC at home to use 
Morse Code on the Web.
    At the Cary Hamfest, I saw this little pager sized box that you could 
hold up to a Morse Code signal and it translates it right on the spot. 
Made me think of a Babblefish somewhat.
