Happy Friday Afternoon!

Preparations for the Oct. 10th MythTV InstallFest and Conference are
going well! Freeside Atlanta's new warehouse space is wired with
Comcast Cable and DirecTV. Also a very large antenna for receiving
Over The Air signals waits on the roof top. In short, in terms of
television reception, we've made it easy to simulate your home
environment while attending the Installfest.

A full schedule of interesting (potentially provocative) speakers is
organized and features Aaron Ruscetta of Atlanta Linux Enthusiasts,
Keith Watson of Georgia Tech, and Abe Caleb from Computer Service
Corporation.

Schedules Direct is generously providing door prizes and give-aways --
some of the give-aways are indispensable to MythTV users. Jarod
Wilson, a Developer of the MythDora distribution and one of the
authors of "Hacking MythTV," is offering a raffle item, and pcHDTV is
reducing the price on the HDTV-5500 capture card. (Available only at
the InstallFest and Conference.)

The InstallFest and Conference also offers a great opportunity to see
a hacker space and learn how to start or join one.
