[RHCE] Network Driver

Hmm, I used to make etherboot images. It was years ago but as I recall the
process was very generic and easy (once you had done about 20 of them)... I
put a disk in one of the workstations, installed everything I needed to
boot, find the network, and mount network drives. Then I simply copied the
existing files and directories up to a server and ran a few programs that
converted the files/directories into a bootp image. After that I logged
into the bootp server and told it to load this image for these MAC
addresses. Bing - Bam - Boom. Easy as pie.
Since this was well over 10 years ago, I can't image that the process has
gotten any more complex.

this driver would work for getting a stand-alone installation to work, but
it
doesn't help with etherboot (and therefore LTSP). as jeremy suggested, it
is
probably possible to make a special boot disk that would provide the kernel
and other necessary modules for LTSP, that's not a road i really feel like
travelling down right now. but if anyone else wants to give it a go, more
power to them.
