+1 (and current member count is *304*)

Back up? I can just "turn off" franklin, without deleting anything, I
think. I'll ask jem.

I'll need help at Ibiblio. Better option - I can set an auto-responder to
say "this list has moved"

See above. I need to talk to someone who knows Lyris *sigh*

I'll (again) see if I can get the archives into my hot little hands in raw
data format, and we can hack all we want.

Well, my worry is that we'll need unc sysadmin stuff, and the likely hood
of getting *THAT* on a sunday is, hmm, slim and none? If we need to
backup/restore anything, We'll be at their mercy until this is finished. I
figured with a staged approach, should something go wrong, it'll be
easier to back out changes, and faster, since we can do it ourselves,
without waiting for UNC.

I've just made you a list admin on Lyris, to make life easier for
me. Remember what I said when I added you to sudoers on fatalpha? ditto
here *grin*. So anyway, you now have access to all the info I have access
to via Lyris. Enjoy it's nastiness.

I'll email my unc contacts and see what they can help with, too. Like raw
user files (should we be that lucky!)...
