I use Grub all the time.  It is far from alpha and in some respects better
than LILO.  On the otherhand LILO has caught up with Grub and works just as
well.  Mandrake lets you use either, and also has some easy controls for
editing them and getting both to do your bidding.

I think you should stick to talking about LILO.  You know it. It works.
Every distro comes with it, and some distro's don't come with Grub.
I'm sure there will be enough Grub-ites onhand to answer any questions in
that arena.

Thanks for giving the talk!  I'm looking forward to it.  I think a lot of
folks will be amazed at how easy it is (and safe to do) to actually roll
your own kernel!
