How did you do the migration? I'm running MD 8.0 and I'd like to switch to
RH 7.2, but I'm not sure how to keep my home stuff without having to do a
full backup, wipe the drive and reinstall, then restore the stuff i want. Is
there a better way?

I've actually moved from using Mandrake as my work desktop to
RedHat. I like a lot of things about RedHat 7.2, though I am having major
stability issues running xmms that ships w/redhat - experienced numerous
hard lockups. I'm still running Mandrake at home, but I'm wary of growing
reliant on the Drak's and update features.
