When you boot off the Red Hat Linux 7.2 CD, just choose the "upgrade an
existing system" option.  There is no necessity to to recreate partitions,
etc -- by default it will upgrade over top of your 7.1 installation.  You
may need to tweak some configuration files for programs that have been
upgraded, but other than that it should be relatively seamless.  
Upgrading a Red Hat Linux system is much easier than installing fresh.
