Also,
I had that problem too. Run "FDISK /MBR" from a Windows 9x diskette to
return the MBR back to the way it was and look at my previous message. I
know that way works. And, of course, it's FREE!

If you want to dual with Win2K, use www.winimage.com/bootpart . I do. Set
the Grub or Lilo to the /dev/hdax instead of the MBR, and use bootpart to
add the Linux to the NT bootloader. It has been working fine for me for 2
years.

Hi.. I'm trying to dual boot a Win2K and SuSe Linux 6.4.. I have a PII
450, 196 Mb RAM..
I suppose Win2K will not allow me to add Linux to MBR... have to use LILO..
I have repartitioned and placed Linux on the larger partition.. the system
boots to LILO, at with I choose Linux... It goes to check hardware and then
filesystem check... but after that it complains of an error or
something... (I'll try and retreive that soon, would be helpful.)
My screen then goes blank... monitor green light goes yellow... I have a
Trio 3D monitor... maybe some video driver issues.. Has anyone heard of
this problem?
