[TriLUG] compiling kernel fixed

Hi Mike,
You were absolutely correct with your assessment. I ran rpm -Va to see which
packages were corrupted and found many that were. Included in the list were
the files that you mentioned. So I used rpm to reinstall the corrupted
packages and now everything works fine.
