could you help me get my 712 running?  I would like to use it
as a headless server.  I need to run some network stuff on
the box, but I don't need a keyboard or display ( I don't have
either, nor 10.x media).

I need a decent verison of gcc, telnet or ssh access, and ethernet.

I would appreciate it.
