We've had lots of comments both for and against the situation at
meetings. The SC and I are aware of all of them, and further complaints
on the public list are, at this point, moot.
Rest assured, the SC and I are reviewing all the messages sent in this
thread, and everyone's concerns are being addressed.
That being said, I'm asking y'all nicely to drop the discussion of this
issue from the main list until the SC and I have a chance to come up
with a solution that is acceptable to all. We'll even accept your
proposals - but *ONLY* to steering at trilug.org or chair at trilug.org, if
you please.
Thanks, everyone, for the input. Believe me, we're listening. And it
will be addressed. But further comment on trilug at trilug.org is becoming
counter-productive to the list.
