[TriLUG] Linux laptop battery

Have you changed your OS or APM lately?  I had an Acer that worked
great with Win95.  I upgraded to Win98 and the _next day_ I started
to experience symptons similar to what you described (runs for 5
minutes - then the APM shuts the computer down).  I never did
solve the problem (tried to uninstall 98, with no luck) - fortunately
the computer was no longer needed for mobile use.
