[TriLUG] keyboard question: vt100 "DO" code

I'm trying to run a telnet session with a VAX host.  I haven't been able
to figure out how to send a "DO" code which is required to send certain
insructions.  I know that remapping a key is needed, but the docs on the
actual "DO" instruction are somewhat elusive.
Does anyone have a specific solution?
