Abstract:

For those tasked with managing eBusiness infrastructures, a significant
challenge exists in optimizing performance and avoiding the common
problems faced when trying to launch or scale new eBusiness
applications. These problems include:

    * Gaining useful eBusiness performance information from current
"silo" management tools
    * Manually scrubbing log files for the right data
    * Blame management and finger pointing
    * Throwing more hardware at the problem
    * Costly downtime and its drain on resources

In this session you will learn about patented new technology for
managing and optimizing the performance of eBusiness infrastructures
built on application server technology such as BEA WebLogic and IBM
WebSphere. You will see the inner workings, including an in-depth view
of analysis engines as well as real-time and statistical correlation
techniques for managing distributed n-tier environments.

About Speaker:
Wendy Klein, Senior Systems Engineer, Altaworks, is responsible for
implementation projects in the Southeast Region. She has worked in
performance management and as an Oracle consultant for ten years.
