[TriLUG] yet another newbie question

Sorry for all the questions in the last couple days everyone.  I use KDE as 
my desktop and every once-in-a-while (i.e. every other day or so) I get 
"Can't launch klaunch" errors when I attempt to launch various x functions 
through my X/ssh tunnel.  

Which process can I kick or which service can I restart to make it so I don't 
have to reboot everytime I encounter this problem?
