[TriLUG] Raid array

Did you initalize the drive first? You have to run the RAID bios and setup
the RAID drive, then initialize it. Once that is done, RedHat should be able
to see the drive as an ordinary scsi drive.
I played with an Adaptec 3200 a while back and dumped it for a Mylex (now
owned by Adaptec...). The old Mylex worked a thousand times better. Later,
Adaptec came out with a BIOS upgrade for the adapter. Perhaps that would
have fixed the corruption problem I was seeing with the RAID drive.
Good Luck - Jon
