[TriLUG] backups revisted

Yeah that’s what I was looking for.  Are there any file size limits to
tar though?

My tape drive is /dev/st0.  To backup to the device I use:
  tar -czf /dev/st0 /vol/backup

To restore from the backup:
  tar -xzf /dev/st0 /vol/restore
 
Is that what you are looking for?
