The initscripts are the scripts that run at boot and setup all
the services on your computer. They're usually found in
/etc/rc.d/init.d (or /etc/init.d). init generally runs them
from a /etc/rc.d/rc.<runlevel>/ directory which generally has
links back to the init.d directory.
