Well, the whole info versus man pages is an entirely separate issue
from how to view info pages.  I agree, however, that gnu shouldn't
do away with man pages in favor of info.  I personally prefer man
pages over info pages, but that doesn't mean I didn't figure out
how to use the info pages.

Perhaps someone who's familiar with info pages could write an
info browser that acts like a web browser (text based, since I
think there are already gui based ones).  This might make info
pages more accessible to non-emacs people.
