[TriLUG] Question about webapp design philosophy

I don't use the RPM's but the deb's of postgresql have generally worked
well. One caveat is that they're pretty conservative on the
configuration; the debs tend to trade performance for broad
compatibility. I can help offline with some of the config if you need it.
