Hmmmm, well when I try about:plugins I get:

Default Plugin

     File name: libnullplugin.so
The default plugin handles plugin data for mimetypes and extensions that
are not specified and facilitates downloading of new plugins.

MIME Type Description Suffixes Enabled
*         All types   .*       Yes

and here are the contents of my plugin directory:

ls -al
total 180
drwxr-xr-x    2 root     root         4096 Sep  5 17:13 .
drwxr-xr-x    9 root     root         4096 Jun 24 14:54 ..
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           40 Jun 24 10:34
libflashplayer.so -> ../../netscape/plugins/libflashplayer.so
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           60 Sep  5 17:10
libjavaplugin_oji.so ->
/usr/java/jre1.3.1_04/plugin/i386/ns600/libjavaplugin_oji.so
-rwxr-xr-x    1 root     root        24422 May 13 21:28 libnullplugin.so
lrwxrwxrwx    1 root     root           33 Jun 24 10:40 plugger.so ->
../../netscape/plugins/plugger.so
-r--r--r--    1 root     root         4139 Sep  5 17:13 raclass.zip
-r-xr-xr-x    1 root     root       131580 Sep  5 17:12 rpnp.so
-r-xr-xr-x    1 root     root         2363 Sep  5 17:10 ShockwaveFlash.class

and my stuff still doesn't work. Why would the plugins be in the
correct folder, but not "installed" when I do the about:plugins?
