I'm sorry that you had trouble with the heat. Unfortunately the circus
couldn't really do any more than they have (fans here and there). They
did say that the State is supposed to put in air conditioning in the Jim
Graham building before next September. Until you see them installing it
though - I wouldn't count on it too much with the state of budgets right
now.

As far as the Mindstorm stuff, I haven't really had a chance to check it
out. I do know that yesterday was teachers/students day and there were a
lot of students! Perhaps the instructor was keeping things simple for
the kids? Also keep into consideration this is the first year for this
show - they'll learn who the good speakers are and are not for next
year.

I haven't been to the shows that you mentioned above - I have only been
to a MacWorld. If you have any suggestions for improving the show for
next year, let me know. Any vendors you would've liked to see there? Any
sessions/speakers you'd like to see? They are very interested in getting
feedback. One of the things that they have stressed to the staff is that
they want this to be user-focused - not like other trade shows where
it's about the exhibitors (who ever pays the most is up front sort of
thing). I like the idea of having exhibitors in groups of interest.

I really am interested in your feedback if you don't mind shooting me an
email - that goes for everyone!!
