Not Invented Here syndrome.  Where people decide they have to do
something differently (or write their own) just because it
wasn't created by their company.  

Actually, I would like Ken to explain what he means by this.
NIH syndrome doesn't seem to apply here since RH *is* using
sendmail (and using with a lot of other things that RH didn't
create).  So, what do you mean?  Or were you just looking
for an insult and that's all you could come up with?  Just
because RH didn't make their stuff backward compatible isn't
any reason to get mad at them.  There are other ways of
doing things, and if you can't figure out how to compile
sendmail yourself (and even create rpms), then I might
suggest that you probably shouldn't be using it.
