[TriLUG] Joystick support in RH9

Hello list :)  I need help configuring an Interact Propad 6 with Red Hat 9, 
and more specifically, xmame.  From what I've read, there is a joystick 
driver rpm incorporated into the 2.4.x kernel, but it either doesn't 
recognize the pad I am trying to use, or I haven't configured something 
correctly.  Any gamers out there know what I need to do?  Thanks in 
advance...
