When I left the DC area to come here last year, the job market was
great... if you already had a TS/SCI clearance.  If you had no clearance
or anything less than top secret, it was pretty bad.  My friends up
there say its a little better now, but not much.

I'd have to concur with your assessment of the local situation.  I know
a lot more folks who are looking for positions than people with
positions who are looking for workers.
