Yikes, that config file is your problem. That looks like a config file
for XFree86 3.x series mixed with XFree86 4.x series. In other words
there is a lot of conflicting statements in it. I've included an config
file that may work with your setup. Make a backup of your old file and
then replace it with this one and see if a reboot (or just restart
XWindows) gets you going. If you look through the file you will see a
couple of different Vert and Horz refresh rates I commented out in the
Device section. If the uncommented ones don't work try a different
commented out one. Also I commented out the AGPMode part to be safe,
but once you have it working you can try adding that back in to get
better performance.
