What what I can tell, you must apply the linux-2.4.x-VFS-lock patch,
if you want to use snapshots w/ reiserfs.  I just tried to create a
simple snapshot, and it would not mount.  It was created successfully, 
but trying to mount it failed with errors about a bad superblock, etc.
