Hi Phil,

It was mentioned briefly on the hosting list
(http://www.trilug.org/mailman/htdig/hosting/2003-February/000253.html)
but at the time, we had a volunteer to set things up. However,
things came up and that volunteer ended up not having any time to
spend on it so it has languished a bit. We've mentioned it on
IRC every now and then but hadn't done anything about it. When
I saw David's message, however, it jogged my memory and I decided
to mention it to the main list and see if anyone there would be
interested in helping.

As you might remember, the stated goal of the hosting list was
to setup something where we could offer hosting to local open
source projects. At the time, however, we decided that getting
our main services up and running first was a good idea. Those
services, however, have been up and running now for an entire
year (looks like it was August of last year that the kerberos/ldap
server was setup:
http://www.trilug.org/mailman/htdig/hosting/2002-August/000171.html )
So, now that things have been up and running for a while, it's
time to progress and move on to everything else we had planned.
Most of that work will probably take place on the hosting list,
just like it was originally planned.

Cheers,
Tanner
