For the newbies, just FYI, the "* in a Nutshell" books by O'Reilly
Associates (publisher) are reference books. If you know what command
you're after but just want to know more depth about how to use it, the
Nutshell books are good for that.
Also look for "Using Linux" which is a more practical guide to Linux
for the newbie, and walks you through all of the things you need to
know right away like how to install, how to get on the Internet, how to
get email, get on the web, etc. It tells you about the office apps on
Linux, how to get your printer working, etc.
