[TriLUG] Roadrunner Question

I believe a combination of what both Matt and I have said should be looked at.
First you need to set your local hostname statically on your machine. This
part you may or may not have already done. You will still get your IP
dynamically from RR. Then take that next step to a dyndns.org type of place to
get your easy to remember FQDN (fully qualified domain name) for access
externally. You would have yourhostname.dyndns.org for example. If I am not
mistaken, you could also have youraliasname.dyndns.org as well, so as not to
give away your machines actual hostname.

Are we making sense for you Scot?

laters,
David M.
