Yes! As a lot of others have mentioned the overly-broad and largely
unresearched patents currently being issued in ALL FIELDS are a serious
problem. I hope the folks in Europe manage to move things in the right
direction. Or at least hold back the seemingly inexorable slide towards
more, longer, and increasingly ridiculous patents.
And we should be working on the same here! Let your congressmen-droids
and other elected officials know about this in the upcoming elections!
